Beeing asked about save-format when saving an edited .wav soundfile witch is not in .wav [PCM] format. -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Beeing asked about save-format when saving an edited .wav soundfile witch is not in .wav [PCM] format. Posted by: Dreas Date:1/13/2005 4:33:41 AM My problem is when having opened a soundfile in .wav (CCITT A-Law) format, whitch by the way is the only format I work with, edited it and clicked on "Save", I am beeing asked which format I want to save the file in, and the program suggests .wav (PCM). This is so stupid, time-taking and unusual. Of course, when I click "Save", I just want to save the edited file in the same format as I opened it in !! The program behaves as if i clicked "Save As", and not "Save". Is this a bug, you think, or is there a reason for this that I cant understand?
