Hi , i am trying to sync a video file to a sound which i recorded using a mp3 recorder. The sound from the video is at 48,000hz whereas mp3 is 44,100hz. While i was sync both the sound files, i realised that at every few seconds the mp3 file needs to be trimmed to get in sync with the video sound file. I need help in this, i tried using the sound forge resampling but it didint help. I am using Vegas 5.0 to do the edit. Pls drop me an e-mail if anyone knows of the answer. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Guys |

You shouldn't have to do anything at all. The sampling rates of the audio and video don't matter; Vegas will take care of the resampling automatically. If it isn't syncing properly then one (or both) of the files was recorded at the wrong speed. In Vegas, a very simple solution is to Ctrl-drag the end of one of the events to match up with the other. And yes, it really is that simple. |
