Hi folks,

I've been trying for a few days to alter my own recorded voice to sound a little more like a vintage radio voice(british). Has anyone else ever attempted this or come accross some sort of plugin that can help?

thanks
NF.

Try starting with the paragraphic EQ. Enable the low shelf and the high shelf filters, and play with the cutoffs. Try starting with with the low shelf around 100 Hz, and the high shelf around 4 or 5 kHz. You may try following that with some compression, but you probably want to overcompress it. You could also add in some white noise before the EQ.

got to izotope.com and get their free vinyl plug in - you'll have many choices of making it sound like old radio.

The accent however, you'll have to learn to do yourself. Try watching the bbc :)
