I've seen other post/advertize their new books, projects, etc. I've also seen forum regulars post(spam) about other products. So I did the same. You don't like it...don't read it. You should check out the stuff, Brian...you might like it.
Other people posting unsolicited ads does not make it okay for you to do so.
Please don't make waynegee the name that we remember when policing our forums. Policing is not something that we want to do, and pushing the boundaries of our tolerance is not a good way to make friends here.
If you made some cool sounds, that's great. If people ask you how you did it, feel free to tell them. If other users (such as Rednroll) point out relatively politely that you have clearly violated our terms of service, try not to violate them in other ways in your response.
didn't mean to cause a ruckus or harsh anyone's mellow with spam. I just thought this was a good space for this product, I thought a lot of us could use somethng like this and it would be welcomed. I was wrong for doing this and I apologize. It will not happen again.
I like to offer telemarketers the chance to purchase a piece of audio gear (amp/speakers/processor, etc). I'll happily take their credit card over the phone. I haven't had any bites yet :), but in the end, I just hang up.
waynegee,
Sorry I have to apologize for citicizing your post for being advertisement in nature. You are correct, that this seems only applicable to a few where you said "I've also seen forum regulars post(spam) about other products." Your post relates to using Vegas, just as much as the other guys, so I have to admit that I'm wrong, as pointed out to me in another thread.
