Subject:SF8 - Bugs or stupid features?

1. After clickin' at "New" icon it's now ask me about sound parameters settings everytime! Why? In previous, if I need new "my default" parameters, I go to File > New menu!
2. During recording "Close" button (in record button) work as "Cancel recording" instead "Stop recording"?

1) This is a bug. To work around, hold down Shift when you click it.
2) This is not new behavior. If you want to just stop, use the stop button.

I think that something bug related non-ASIO soundcards. Today I try trial on 5 different machines (2 with equal hardware excluding soundcards).
On all choose Sound Mapper.
Sometime recording process "freeze" system with:
DPS A4V + Internal (Athlon XP 1700+ at GA-7VTXE) - non-ASIO (here "Close" as "Cancel")
TBS Fiji (PIII 1400 at GA-6VTXE) - non-ASIO (here "Close" as "Cancel")
Dual TBS Fiji (PIII 733 at ASUS P2-99) - non-ASIO
Without problems:
Internal (PIII 800 at Intel 810DMO) ASIO
Audigy 2 + Internal (AthlonXP 2500+ at ASUS A7N8X) ASIO
Tomorrow I'll try download and install ASIO4All driver for non-ASIO cards...

I think, that I'm find!
Both machines (with record problems) were without previously installed NET Framework. I install it after installation of SF8. Now I reinstall SF8 and have no record problems!
But dual TBS Fiji comp sometime freezes
