Isn't this an included plug-in - as in free? After I updated to Soundforge 8 the only plugin not working is wave hammer. But Wave hammer 5.1 is??? If I right click on the plugin itself it has an option to register but does nothing? Did the whole Migration tool thing - no go! |

Try uninstalling and re-installing but first and make sure you delete the Sony Setup folder under C:\Program Files. Also make sure you delete any previous version of SF first. Worked for me. I had installed SF8 then deleted SF7 and had the same problem as you. Reinstalling SF8 solved it. I think uninstalling SF7 took the license away even though I still had SF8 installed. |

To put it mildly - this sucks. It's the same deal that happened when upgrading from SF6 to SF7 - Wave Hammer goes into demo mode. Even if you follow the install directions correctly. THe earlier thing had something to do with the plug-ins being written in a different code between the two SF versions. I never thought that Sony wouldn't have fixed this for version 8. Think I'll hold off on getting SF8 for a while. Jack |
