On AIFF files, (stereo & mono 48/16 ) the peak fs meter goes to clip (pins) and stays there until PB is stopped.

Yes, this is a known issue. It should only affect aiff files.

If saving off a .wav version to work on is not acceptable, here's another trivial workaround. Change the bit-depth in the status bar or file properties up to 24-bit, then back to 16-bit.

This will be fixed in the first update.
