Does it cause a file to degrade or suffer noise when you edit and save it more than once? Sometimes editing a wav file takes a bit and you must save it to work on it later. Attimes one might re-save the file 3 times or so.

If you are saving uncompressed, and WAV almost always is, then there will be no loss from saving and reopening an infinite number of times.
