Subject:SF7 and 24 bit files

I created some 24 bit files with SF6. Now SF7 can open them and save them to 16 bit, but it cannot play them. 5 seconds into the file, it stops with a hum and hangs the computer. I have to perform a hard boot to get out of the situation.

Anybody else have this problem?

As I said in your previous post, I have created, processed, and played countless gigs of 24 bit files in SF7. I suspect a driver problem with your audio interface / sound card.
