Subject:Deleting start stop noise

When using Soundforge 8 I've noticed that it will add a tap noise into the audio when it starts and stops. If I delete a little off the start and end of the track the noise is still there. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get rid of this?



****I worked around it by adding in a coulpe seconds at the start and end of the audio then just did a fade in and fade out. But since this is just working around the problem I would still like to know a way to not have to do this.

Check that the "zero crossing" parameters are adjusted correctly. Find these in Options> Preferences. See the manual for futher info.
