Subject:Soundforge 6.0 Question

hey i was using 6.0 over a freinds house and when i zoomed in as far as itd let me there were all these dots that would stop me from cuttin in between them wich stopped me from gettin it as exact as i needed to... anyone know how to get rid of the dots?

The dots represent the samples. When you zoom in to 4:1 or greater the dots are drawn to show you where the individual samples are. You can't cut between samples.

Well, that's true and it's not true, in a sense. True, you can never cut between samples. However, you could resample it to a higher sample rate and then cut at the new samples that appear between the original ones. However, if you do this and then resample back down to the original rate, Sound Forge will trim or pad back to whole samples at that rate again.
