It looks like a couple of people went after Creative Labs because they advertised the Audigy/Extigy lines as 24/96 processing (which is true (and only in part, as far as I can tell) only of their output, not input). Through all the legaleze, the settlement seems to be that, if you bought a first generation Audigy,Extigy, you can apply for a 25% credit (to a max of $62.50) on the purchase of any Creative Product over $250. Whoopee. Seems like two years and a lot of wasted effort for a coupon worth $62.50. Personally, I'd have just dropped the whole thing and gone to an M-Audio card. (-: |
