Subject:How 2 install Plug-ins? Posted by: zam13 Date:6/5/2005 7:06:14 AM I am trying to install third party plug ins . What is the ideal way of getting sound forge 6 to reconize my plugs. Should plugs be installed first or soundforge first. What folder are the third party plugs located in? Do they need to be on the same drive as the program. Please Help ready to smash my head against the wall.

Your plug-ins should come with their own installation routines. When you install a plug-in, it puts an entry into the Windows registry. Sound Forge will scan for plug-ins when you run it. The plug-ins will be installed where the installation routine puts them, but most installations allow you to specify your own folder. Best, Scott -- Scott R.
