Hello. I am in desperate need of help. I am running Sound Forge Version 6 and now am using Microsoft Office Version 03.

For some reason, powerpoint will not play any Wave File file that I have edited with sound forge. I can't figure out why.

I do the usual, "insert sound" but when the little icon appears and I click on it, "Nothing."

PLEASE HELP - I am desperate.

Richie

Make sure you are saving to a 44.1kHz..PCM Wave and not a wave64 or Scottstudios wave.

Thanks so much for your help.

I tried that and it isn't working. I still get the icon of a speaker, but no sound at all. I can hear the sound when I click on it directly through media player, but for some reason, PowerPoint doesn't recognize it.

Any other suggestions?

Check the properties in PP - rightclick on the icon and go through the various options - there's quitte a few of them that can be switched on/off

Also would expect PP to recognise only the files that are allowed
