Subject:Two progress meters Posted by: mr hotwash Date:6/23/2005 2:25:44 AM This is a trivial bug, if it really is a bug, but does anyone else see two progress scales on the lower left taskbar when opening, saving or refreshing an on-screen file? I've installed 8.0a and all that, and have a pretty standard XP setup. Other than this minor strangeness, I'm pretty happy with SF8 and I can't identify with the cries of dissatisfaction elsewhere on this forum - but then I'm a newbie and a pretty primitive user so far, so maybe I haven't tested the software to destruction yet. hotwash
Subject:RE: Two progress meters Reply by: Chienworks Date:6/23/2005 4:18:42 AM The idea was that since Sound Forge can handle multiple task streams simultaneously there should be progress meters for the current task as well as for the overall cue of tasks waiting to be performed. However, what seems to happen is that both progress meters always show the current task. shrug If it helps you feel any better, it's been the same way since version 6.
