Subject:What is happening to my waveforms?

-SF 7.0b, paragraphic EQ > preset entitled "remove very low and inaudible frequencies below 20hz": using this actually expands the waveform rather than shrinking it as one would expect after removing low end.

Does anyone know what this preset is actually doing?
