Subject:Output Resampling for odd rates

I haven't posted here in a while mostly because SF8 has proven to be ultra stable compared to 7 and 6. I use the software every work day and I've had maybe 1 freeze (no crashes!) in weeks. Thanks to the SF team for making this such a stable build.

I have one major PITA in my work and thats that I often work in odd sampling rates that my main audio card (RME Multiface) can't play back. I end up having to either monitor through the motherboard's rather inferior sound card, or use Wavelab because it has an output resampling plugin.

So basically this is a feature request for a quality output resampler built into Sound Forge to match any sampling rate (ex: 27.771 kHz) to standard ones (ex: 44.1, 48,96 kHz) .

One alternative would be some kind of virtual sound card that would interpose itself between Forge and hardware and perform this kind of resampling (via ASIO would be nice), I haven't found anything like that yet.

Thanks,

Angels
