Subject:Trigger event....not? Posted by: luces1 Date:8/23/2005 7:29:45 PM Howdy. I just downloaded my own new version of SF8.0b. I was at SF5.0, so it was time. Anyhow, I am trying to use the Trigger Event via the midi trigger parameter and it does not seem to be triggering and I was wondering if this might be a known issue or maybe I have overlooked something, but it seems pretty sraight forward. I used it in SF5.0 and I set all the parameters the same in 8.0 and no go. I have uninstalled 5.0(it's not even on my system anymore), and I have verified in Acid 5.0 that my midi kybd is definitely putting out a signal and is just fine. I am using the Audiophile 24/96 just in case anybody is interested. Please let me know what might be the problem. Thanks,luces

Reply by: ForumAdmin Date:8/24/2005 7:08:40 AM No repro here. a) Make sure the device in Options->Prefs->MIDI/Sync is set to the right device. b) Make sure Options->MIDI In/Out->Trigger from MIDI Timecode is enabled You should also see incoming messages in the Regions/Playlist toolbar (available in View->Toolbars). No repro here.

a) Make sure the device in Options->Prefs->MIDI/Sync is set to the right device.
b) Make sure Options->MIDI In/Out->Trigger from MIDI Timecode is enabled

You should also see incoming messages in the Regions/Playlist toolbar (available in View->Toolbars).
