ok yeah ima beginner so can sumone please tell me wat am i doin wrong.. i took a sample from a song worked on it for a whilelopping it until i had a complete beat now the problem lies in that the lil square on the bottom where it sez rate, i set the orange aroow on the bottom to 2.70(normal rate) but is it everytime i export it to cd arcitect/save it and try to play it in windows media player /burn it it plays maddd slow like its distorted or sumthing, like its goin in slow mo nothing ive tried to do has fixed this prob ive tried saving it a million time and ive tried to open a new window and set it to 44,1hz or w/e it was and paste the beat into the new window n it still plays slow until i push the arrow back up to the right rate how do u save the rate so that i can save the beat and burn to cd and have it play normal? thanks so much! |

That little arrow only affects playback while you are previewing in Sound Forge. It has no effect on how the song is saved. You need to alter the pitch. Under Effects choose Pitch / Shift. Unfortunately you can't enter 2.7, but if you move the semitones slider over to 17 you get 2.66968 which is probably close enough. You can add 19.6 Cents to bring it up to 2.70008. Now the file will actually be 2.7 times faster and you can save it that way. |
