I've purchased & installed Sony Soundforge 8.0b (Build 110) Upon installaion, I noticed that Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 was installed. Now, when I start my system, I have to annoyingly "choose" my adminstrator account before logging in. Before, installing SoundForge8.0 and Microsoft .NET, I would just fire up the workstation and the desktop would load up. Start>Control Panel>User Accounts has a new account call "ASP.NET Machine A...". Why is this here? How do I get rid of the login prompt when booting up my workstation. Annoyed Fess |

First, go to Windows Update and download updates for .NET. There should be 2, a service pack and then another critical update. Do the service pack first (you may have to reboot and then do Windows Update again). If you still get the login screen after both updates, try this: Click Start, and then click Run. In the Open box, type control userpasswords2, and then click OK. In the dialog box that appears, clear the Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer check box, and then click OK.
