I'm not knowledgeable at all regarding recording software. I've searched the forums, FAQ's, and my manual and am unable to find an answer to my question.

I am using a Dynametrics TLP-124HS with a Radio Shack cordless phone and an Accent headset. When I make a recording of a phone call, the sound of my voice is fine for my needs, both in quality and volume. However, the volume of the person on the other end is way too low.

I played around with normalizing, but that didn't seem to be right. I made a call with the incoming volume turned all the way up and all that did was create a loud buzz noise on the recording, although the other caller's voice was much closer in volume to mine.

Suggestions, please? Thanks.

What is a Dynametrics TLP-124HS?

What soundcard are you using, and how are you getting a signal into it?

I'm not sure on my sound card. What I've found is....

SigmaTel C Major Audio
Conexant D480 MDC V.92 Modem

Does that help?
