Subject:Memory Question

Hello:

I just upgraded my Dell computer from 1gb ram to 3gb ram. The computer reads the new memory, but when I load my Acid Music Studio, the memory usage thing at the bottom right is red and says "9 / -2,046mb." Why is it red, and why does it say negative 2,046mb? My system recognizes that I have 3gigs of ram, but what's wrong with Acid?

Thanks,
K-Spokane

Windows-based software only recognizes 2GB maximum per application. ACID is most likely trying to use 2048MB but some of it isn't available due to system constraints. -2046MB is probably the same as +2050MB, which is probably the result of some rounding errors and the system constraints.
