Hi,
I can play back, but can not record in Sound Forge 8.0b through my MBox. I have Pro Tools LE 6.9 with the wave driver installed, and I used "digi helper" to add Sound Forge 8.0 (forge80.exe) to the Wave Driver Opt-in List. In the options/preferences/audio tab, the audio device selected is "windows classic wave driver". The default playback device is "Digidesign MBox chan 1-2". However, the default recording device only lists "SoundMAX Digital Audio". MBox does not appear in that list. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you got the driver from here, read the fine print carefully for your version.

Older versions of the Digi wave driver (5.3.3) allow you to record, but the newer ones (6.0 and later) do not. The old one is still available for download.

There is also an ASIO driver available here that should work with Sound Forge 8.0.
