PC's date setting appears to be incorrect? -Sound Forge - PC

Now when I install SF8, run it for the first time, and then enter the serial number in order to activate the software, the following message appears: >>Your computer's date setting appears to be incorrect. It's either set to the wrong date now, or was set to the wrong date at the time you installed this software<< And that's it. I'm not able to get any further. The same problem occurs when I install and run CD Architec 5.2 I've obviously controlled that the settings actually are correct, cleaned the registry and done a fresh install, tried SF version 8 and 8.0b etc. Nothing helps. Has anybody got an explanation and, if possible, a solution?
