Subject:Using Noise Reduction in a batch file

I'm having some trouble with the Noise Reduction plugin when running it in a batch file under Sound Forge. When running the Noise Reduction plugin in a batch file. I have the "capture noiseprint" checkbox checked, along with the "automatic capture timeout" checkbox, which is set for 250 milliseconds. The audio file has a few seconds of hiss at the beginning from which the noiseprint can be taken. On its first pass through the file, Noisereduction is reducing noise like its supposed to, except for about 3/4 of a second at the beginning of the file. It turns out that this is very significant because I have to do two more passes through this particularly noisy file, and each time the noiseprint appears to be coming from that untouched 3/4 of a second at the beginning of the file. As you are aware, when you run Noise Reduction outside of a batch file, you can select the entire audio file for it to work on, thus allowing the next noiseprint to be taken from processed data. Can anyone confirm this finding and have a solution to this problem |
