Subject:Sound Forge Load Trouble

Hi folks..

I am setting up a secondary PC rig at home to work on projects after I get the home chores done and I've loaded SF8, registered it and it goes into it's load mode.. It gets to where it see's Halion and it simply disappears! Won't go any further? Is there a known issue? Halion 3 is in c/.../Steinberg/vstplugins..

I use Cubase SX3 with Halion.. Any thoughts??

Also, I have forgotten where to store the Acoustic Mirror Impluses - I'm not at the 'studio' to look at where they are in that system.. Thanks folks - Sid

Got it! - Chalk this one up to Operator Error (as most of my troubles are caused by - LOLOL)

Halion was loaded in two places..

c/../steinberg/vstplugins

&

c/../steinberg/cubasesx3/vstplugins


Removed the Hal folder from the 1st loc and SF opens like it should and I tried Cubase and hal opens fine there!!

Good to go!
