Can you tell me what "squaring" means in relation to music?

I understand, "Squaring" is marking 8 counts of music to create a 32 count or 4x8 block of music. Used mainly in Fitness music for accurate music count to choreography. Hope this makes sense. Thank you for your help

Play through the 32 counts marking your start and end points. Delete the rest and copy/paste however many instances you want. But Acid is a more appropriate application for this sort of thing....

Geoff,
Thank you for your help. I am hoping to keep the songs intact. Are you referring to placing marks at specific beats and then pasting the marks in the rest of the music? I am very new at this and I have a DVD on order to help me further my education! Thanks again for your help!
