Things to check. In SF select Options> Precerences> Audio Select "Windows Classic Wave Driver" Then select your Record and Playback soundcard. Many consumer soundcard settings are accessed by the following. Double-click the speaker icon or Start> Settings> Control panel> Sound and Audio Devices. Adjust recording parameters. |

Does the Sound Forge record level meter show any incoming audio? Try a different setting on the SF "Options>Preferences>Audio" dialog window. If the meter still does not show anything, it's probably a soundcard issue. Can you hear the audio you want to record comming though your speakers? If you can, re-check the soundcard record mode setting. If your system specs were postedin your profile, that could help in diagnosing your problem. I really appreciate your help in this regard. Yes I do hear the sound coming thru the speakers. However, since I am not a computer wiz, I really am not sure how to very the soundcard settings. It sounds like too technical for me. If I am not bothering you too much, how can very this? Can you tell me please. Thanks |
