Subject:SF 7 Filtering for Podcast Audio?

I use Acid to assemble a podcast but am using Sound Forge to process the audio first. Its recorded via Sype and doesn't sound that bad but I'd like to limit / clip the noise and increase the increase the dynamic range etc. I only use Sound Forge on occasion so could somebody suggest the procedure I could go through to clean-up the audio before I put it into Acid?

Thanks

I know that Sound Forge 8 has an audio restoration tool (but it's basic). There's also Noise Reduction 2 but that's not exactly cheap either.

I'm no audio engineer, but I'd make sure the recording environment was as quiet as possible. (You know that they say: Garbage in, garbage out.) Maybe one of the gurus can chime in?
