Subject:Acid Music Studio 6 will not open

I installed the upgrade to version 6. When I try to open I get an error message that says "File SYNSOACC.DLL could not be located in the Windows system folders". I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times with the fire wall and antivirus turned off. I've even looked for the file which I can't find. The program registers fine after intarll but it won't open past the splash screen.

Oh ya,my computer is an HP 64 bit Pentium 4 HT w/512 ram XP home, Aardvark direct pro Q10

SYNSOACC.DLL is part of Steinberg's copy protection mechanism using thier Syncrosoft license protection dongle.

We don't talk to or use this, so you need to investigate what you are using that talks to this.

I figured it out before you posted but thanks for answering. It was an Amplitube freebie that caused it.
I'm glad you're here to answer questions because the support email is just about useless. Thanks again
