Subject:Normalizing channels separately in batch job

I do some teleconferencing, which I record for my clients using KishKish SAM for Skype. My client gets recorded on the left channel, and I'm on the right. Invariably my client's channel is fainter, and I'd like to normalize it separately. In SF 8 I'm able to do that easily, but I haven't been able to figure out how to incorporate that into a batch file. When I run normalization in a batch file, there is no option to normalize a particular channel, and it seems to normalize both channels equally. If the left channel needs to be boosted more than the right, it doesn't happen. How can I create a batch file that will normalize each channel separately?

I'll second a vote for that ability. I'm now using a batch utility to separate my BWF stereo files into mono files, then I batch normalize the channel I wish, and then I use another utility to batch rejoin them into stereo files.

I don't understand why the normalization plugin should function differently in batch mode with certain options grayed out or unavailable.
