buss rendering

Did this feature ever return?

Is it possible in V7 to render all busses with efx ?

Can it be done using a script ?

V5 once had this, it was really convenient but was removed. How are people exporting thier busses for mixes and further work in other apps?

Yeah I know about the "render-a-bus-at-a-time-by-soloing-each". it woudl be nice to have something more efficient than this.

No, there is no direct way to pull this off.

However, there is a new mutlichannel rendering mode that will let you avoid the mute of buses.

You will have to render multiple times, but it will let you get one and only one bus - and per channel if you want.

I will check to see if this can be scripted.

The multiple channel render helps somewhat. It does ease the rendering thing by not having to mute or solo busses.

However, what does the script "batch render" do? I was configuring the toolbar and saw an icon for this. What does it do? anything?
