i'm working on a project where I need some songs of mine to sound as if they were recorded very cheaply in the late 70s or early 80s. if you need an example of what I mean... listen to The Stooges or any number of punk bands around that time. more specifically.. the songs sound blown out... in the red.. lots of crackles and pops. I know alot about taking those out.. but how do I put them in?? :) anyone know what I mean? or should I post this on the Acid forum? thanks! -jay Message last edited on12/30/2006 3:05:50 AM byxjasonxisxdeadx. |

http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/vinyl/ Also think about using some EQ sparingly on the tracks by taking away some highs and mess with your low and mids to taste. I own Ozone 3,Spectron,Trash and I swear by them all as well. Highly recommended. HTH. Ed. |

For an extra bit of fun, click on the rivets in the corners of vinyl. It's probably the best easter-egg for a plug-in! |
