Subject:Questions about - Moving SF 7.0 to new PC

Question 1 of 2:
- I want to move SF from my laptop to a desktop at the office/studio.
- Will I have problems moving it to a new PC?

(I should upgrade but right now SF 7.0 is working fine for us now.)

Question 2 of 2:
- I only rarely use SF on my laptop... but do on occasion.
- Not enough however to justify buying a second copy right now.
- Does license permitt use on 2 PC's... Home & Office?
(Some other software is now doing this now.)

Thanks for any help.

Yes, you can install it on both. You will need to register it again with the new install - certainly not a big deal though. I have my Sony apps installed on my studio DAW and my office system (which is where I download and check all new apps, progs, and plugs before installing in the studio system).

One slight point that drbam didn't metion is that the license allows you to install Sound Forge on as many computers as you personally use, as long as it's only used on one of those computers at a time. If you find yourself using it on both computers at the same time then you will need to purchase another license.
