Subject:Problems recording sound

I just had my computers networked and at the same time, my tech cleaned out hooks in my computers. I can listen to audios, can't record. I've tried with both simple headphones and with sound mixer equipment. Any suggestions?

Not sure exactly what you mean by "hooks".

Did your sound card's mixer settings get changed? Open up the volume control panel, click Options / Properties / Recording. Is the input you want to use selected?
