Has anybody been able to use the Melodyne plugin with Sound Forge? It has to be able to exchange audio, so it has to work non-modally. I tried it as part of a chain but it doesn't work right and hangs up. I'd love to be able to to use it for time compression. Is this combination impossible? |

I'm just guessing here, but it seems to me that a "time compression" plugin would have to be used as a non-realtime effect. I don't see how it could work in the realtime effects chain. |

You're right. And in fact, Melodyne's time compression is tempo-based. Definitely better suited to a DAW than a stereo editor. |
