Subject:WMA tracks with SF7 for music player

I have a very long (3+ hours) recording that is all one .WAV file. I want to move it to a music player (not an IPod) that plays .WMA files. I plan to add markers or regions to the master file to separate various sections of the recording. This is for ease of finding sections of the recording for review. I could break the recording up at specific places or I could even just put in markers every five to ten minutes. This is just so that when I listen to the WMA on the player I don't have to get to the last place I was listening but holding the FF button for 10 minutes! Do WMA players (I have a SanDisk) only recognize tracks if they are separate .WMA files? If so I need so idea how to break up my huge file into pieces and, I guess save as separate files with a file name that would put everything in the correct order on the player. I'm hoping there is an easier way :-) Any help greatly appreciated! Wayne Message last edited on3/24/2007 11:37:01 AM byWayneM. |
