I have SF 7.0. I want to convert teaching recordings to burn on CDs. This is for my church. Can someone walk me through the Process of breaking the recording into tracks (Is this regions?) and burning a professional CD for people to use in a standard CD player. Will I need another program to use with SF 7.0 to produce the CDs? |

You could separate the tracks into individual files and burn singly in Track At Once mode that SF has. But better still use use CD Architect which lets you place the track markers and burn a continuous Disc At Once CD (is that what you mean by 'professional' ) . SImple instructions for both apps are in their included Help files. geoff |

Somewhat coincidentally, I am now doing the same thing with my old records. Just got the Numar USB turntable and want to archive my old LPs. I'm surprised SF 7 can't burn tracks. Disappointing. But I went and dug out my CD Architect disk and installed it. Now my problem is that I can't find the manual or card with my serial number on it. Do I have any options? (I don't much like the idea of breaking every song up for a couple reasons; it's a lot of work ((poor me ;-)) and it messes with the flow of the album that the artist originally had in mind.) In this forrum, search for my post on burning audio CDs using Ahead's Nero. There are detailed instructions as I recall. Found it: http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?ForumID=3&MessageID=245626 mjroddy, SF- 7 can burn tracks.. just not "Disc-at-Once". so each track would have a two second pause. If you had a registered version CD-A, SMS customer service will have the reg #. Message last edited on4/1/2007 2:25:10 PM byrraud. |
