Accessed SF8 plug-in, Multi Band Dynamics, from Cubase LE to tame a voice track, got stutter. Using Pentiun 4, 2.8GHz, 800 FSB, 1Gig Ram, Lexicon Omega, Cubase LE . About 1/3 0f the plug-ins work fine. Tried disabling Hyperthreading- no change. Please assist.

For what it's worth, I've never had great success using Sound Forge plug-ins in Cubase.

thanks for your honesty. I was hoping for a shortcut by just bringing in the SF plug-ins into Cubase. Sometimes the longer route does provide more time to enjoy the scenery, warmest regards - charlie

Support for all DirectX plug-in behaviors (in this case "non-in-place" processing, where the output length for a given input length can vary) can be a little sketchy in many third party hosts, particularly those that were initially developed around other plug-in architectures.

Many Sony plug-ins will work fine in other hosts. But there are several that certain hosts may have trouble with.

Thanks for your input. Do you think a 'wrapper' would be worth trying, and if so, could you suggest a specific approach?
