Sometimes (only sometimes !) when I highlight a section and use Volume to reduce a glicth by, say 10 dB, repeatedly nothing happens. I then change the amount and the full new reduction happens immediately. Seems very intermittant. geoff. |

Most likely a failure to redraw. Some time when you don't see a change, try zooming in and out and see if the change appears. tj |

Actually, it's most likely the default edge fades. Hit the "More..." button and make sure the fades are zero'ed. Then right click and select "Save Fade Options" to make that the default. J. Message last edited on4/20/2007 7:01:19 AM byForumAdmin. |

I think it was the fades - I hadn't reset the default after a clean re-install. Fault didn't show up on a longer selection and when re-checking with attention to the fades, behaves OK.. geoff |

yeah Geoff, I posted a similar problem which has something to do with the (new) default volume cross-fade. I've been on location and have not tried the fix posted in that thread.
