Subject:O.K To Enter Serial Number In Demo?

I've been using the demo of SF9 for a few days, but decided yesterday to purchase the full version thanks to the discounted upgrade offer as a previous SF user.

I did download the full version that was linked, but rather than uninstalling the demo and installing this version, I just punched in my SF9 serial number, and all seems fine.

Am I missing any functionallity doing it this way (I don't appear to be) so is it best to install the version given to me in the link?

Cheers

The demo and trial versions are the same install file as the purchased version. The only difference is entering your serial number and activating it.

On the other hand, you might want to check which build you're running (Help / About). The version you just downloaded might be a new build with some bug fixes. You don't have to uninstall first either. Just install the newer version right over top of the current one and it will pick up all your settings and presets that you may have already created.

Thanks Cheinworks

I thought that would be the case.

The only reason I wondered was that the iZotope plugins where missing, but a rebuild of the plug-in chain fixed this.

The demo build is the same as the one given in the link (297).

Cheers

Paul
