Subject:SoundForge 9 File Menu

After installing SF9 on my desktop computer I then installed it on my laptop. Everything seems to be fine except on the laptop the file menu in SF 9 takes up the whole width of my screen. This is not the case with the desktop computer. I don't know if I have seen this problem before with any of my software. Anyone have any ideas?
