Subject:File Types tab vanishes in Options>Preferences

Is this a bug in SF9? When I attempt to associate certain file types with SF, I go to Options, then Preferences, and when I click on the File Types tab, the entire tab (and anything that was supposed to be below it) vansihes...gone! Until you pull it up again and then once again, the same thing happens. I tried un-intsalling and re-installing. No help. It's not a major thing, but annoying. Is something wrong with my setup or does every SF9 act this way?

Make sure you've updated to 9.0a (build 297), available in the Updates section.
