- When pasting a section of audio, for instance 2 seconds of silence at the start of a file, the markers move with the audio as with a ripple edit which was the case with previous versions of SF, however in SF-9, upon undoing the paste, all the markers stay in the new position ??? A setting or bug?? - Markers also no longer copy/paste with the audio. A setting I'm missing?? Off Topic -1: Process> Time Stretch- When changing this process to "Time" from the default "Percentage" the file time reads 00:01:00:00 (@30fps-nd) no matter what the actual file length is?? OT-2: The right click "Loop preview" function also causes the file (or any selected part of) to loop. At least in "Simple Synthesis" for instance generating a constant calibration tone. Not seeing either of these in 9.0a (build 297). Is that what you are running? If so, please provide a few more details on the first (note that we don't move markers if you are not pasting to all channels). The second is controlled by Options->Paste Events, which should be enabled by default. I believe this was broken in build 245, so again, make sure you're up to 297. Off Topic 1 - known and bugged, but the ratio is what counts as far as processing goes. Off Topic 2 - looped playback loops the loopbar region, which we default to the entire file length as of 9.0a. Then it follows selection (there's a pref in 9.0a to disable this behavior). Looped playback applies to effect dialogs as well, but you can toggle it directly on the toolbar or in the effect's context (right-click) menu. J. Running 9a / bld. 297 Files: 44.1-16 bit mono. I'll try to provide more details and experiment when time permits. Thanks, Rick |
