Subject:DX Plug-ins SF V9 with third party software

I installed the demo version of SF 9 and then purchased the full version. Since the demo version was 9a and the DVD had V9 I uninstalled the demo version and installed the DVD version. Then I applied the 9a version from the download site. No problems, the plug-ins etc. appear to work fine in SF9, however they only work in demo mode in other software. I like to be able to use the SF plug-ins across all aspects of a project and I tend to use SF for mastering and not mixdown. Is this a new policy to only allow the plug-ins to work for SF only. If that is the case it seems a little ironic that they feature the use of other VST effects, but don't allow the DX ones to be used outside of SF. The reason I listed the order in which I installed the software is to see if the demo plug-ins were not replaced when I uninstalled the demo version. Can I apply the non demo versions? |

I think I answered my own question. I re-registered the plug-ins and they now appear to be working. |
