Tidbit, thanks for that. I suppose i should have read that on my own by now anyway. But this is the first i've realized that i have a license for CD-Architect. I hadn't realized until now that it was included with SoundForge 9 pro.

Guess i'll have to go download and install it now. :)

Heh. If I'd waited long enough, I wouldn't have had to spend the money for separate CD Arch, NR and Acoustic Mirror licenses.

If I'm not mistaken, SF-8 came with CD Arc & AC mirror, but not NR-2.
I don't know about SF-7

I don't believe Acoustic Mirror has ever been a separate license.

When i got Sound Forge 8 i did not get a CD Architect license with it.

I was kind of amused over the whole CD Architect license. I still don't know why, but somewhere along the way the kind folks at SonicFoundry (i think it was still them at the time) gave me a free upgrade license for version 5.2. Unfortunately it was an upgrade-only license, and not having ever had a previous version, i couldn't install it. I definitely appreciated the gesture, but wasn't able to make use of it. So, even though i've (sort of) had a license for a few years i've still never even seen the thing run yet. That will change this weekend.

I've been doing all my AudioCD burning in Vegas. I'll be curious to see what CDA offers that Vegas doesn't.

Chien, Now that I think back, I might have got SF-8, NR-2 and CD-Arc in an upgrade bungle. I didn't have CD Arc and only NR-1.(or was that SF-6?)
AC mirror WAS separate when it first came out, (around the time of SF-4.5 or 5.) It cost me $70 at B&H. Of coarse all this is nether-here-nor-there now.

CD Arc offers CD-text and some other meta data goodies that Vegas does not, and files can be exported directly from SF. The GUI is also nicer than Vegas for CD authoring, IMO

CD-A has been bundled with SF since it's inception. In one version it was incorporated into SF itself, in a clumsy sort of way.

And AFAIR Acoustic Mirror' was always included too . Ok maybe not the first release.

Uncluttered focus on the task in hand without distractions or complications. CD-TEXT, comprehensive tracklist and playlist printouts.
