Subject:Sony Acid not Detecting my CD player

For months I have been unable to burn my projects to cd. I can load music onto my computer with other programs like itunes & Windows media player but Sony Acid 5.0 will still not detect my cd player. I have an HP Pavilion laptop with AMD Anthon 2.2gig proc & 2 gigs of RAM and both an internal & external (USB) CD/DVD +- R/RW.

I used Windows add/remove Program to remove ACID & Microsoft SQL service, then reinstalled ACID and it recognizes both of my CD burners now. Problem solved, for now.
