What seems so easy in other multi channel/track applications like Cubase and Sonar I can't figure out in SF9. I recorded 4 channels I want to downmix into a stereo end mix. I found some entries in the manual about "Mix", but for some reason I cannot get it to work or find it an annyoing way to do so. Seems like SF9 has not been designed for this. Since I like SF for it's edit and processing capabilities, now I import the in SF recorded and edited 4 channel WAV file into Sonar and create my stereo mix in there, which then is a piece of cake. What am I missing here? |

This may be a very useful tip. I didn't think of using this function. Thanks, Joe. |

However SF is a multichannel editor, not a multitrack DAW. You would be better using Vegas or Acid for what you want to achieve. geoff |

I think indeed Vegas is the better option. |
