Markers aren't transferred to the new file when selecting "Save As". Hmmmm.

The markers transferred fine for me - saving as wav @ 48khz.

Can you be more specific about file types you're saving to/from - see if I can reproduce //

If I have a wave file open with markers and I select SAVE AS and save it under a different name (or same name in a different folder), the file renders fine, but as soon as the rendering is complete, the markers vanish. Hope this helps more.

I've tried this on 2 machines - using wave driver and asio drivers. And in both machines all markers transfer perfectly. The slower machine, does hesitate for a couple of seconds before redrawing the waveform - however the markers do not flash/disappear at all...

Tried reopening files, saving as 3 or 4 different names - all working fine for me. It does rename the markers (using default numbers only) into chronological order though. Running 34+ markers still works fine. I'm trying hard, but I just cannot reproduce your symptoms. Even adding regions is no problem for it.

Tried adding regions through menu, with no params, and also with params, and by simply using 'm'. Also, same methodology for regions.

I just can't repro...

Hope that's of some comfort in that I tried..

I greatly appreciate the help! I will try uninstalling/reinstalling the software. Hope that fixes things. Cheers.

In the Save As dialog, make sure "Save metadata with file" is checked.
