Subject:artifacts when stretching

I'm hearing a flanging effect every time I click on the "stretch from
tempo" button. I've tried acidizing, no effect. It's certainly
very noticeable on the music I'm working with right now (old disco),
but not so much with new music.

Any thoughts/help appreciated.

Two good things to look into: Make sure you've got the latest
download of ACID from our web site. The
original version sometimes caused phasing when the file is played at
close to the original tempo, so there's
been a fix. The other thing to look into is try going to the stretch
tab, and in addition to testing the
horizontal Force Divisions and Additional Transient faders, try
changing the Stretching Method to Pitch Shift
Segments.
